COVRE Minneapolis
Trajectory Changing Solutions (TCS) is proud to introduce COVRE Minneapolis, a new initiative designed to enhance safety, strengthen community trust, and support residents across key Minneapolis neighborhoods. COVRE (Community Outreach & Violence Reduction Effort) reflects the team’s commitment to proactive, community-centered safety strategies.
Launched in early 2026, this pilot program—operating during the first half of the year—will be implemented in partnership with local community-based organizations and the City of Minneapolis. Together, these partners will work to address immediate safety concerns while laying the groundwork for a sustainable, collaborative framework for violence reduction.
The Community Peace Builders
The COVRE Team, made up of Community Peace Builders, focuses on reducing violence through presence, engagement, and rapid response.
The Community Peace Builders:

Maintain a visible and consistent presence in areas with safety concerns.

Mediate conflicts before they escalate into violence.

Prevent retaliatory incidents, especially during high-risk times and following neighborhood incidents.

Engage individuals at the highest risk of being involved in violence, ensuring they receive support, resources, and alternatives.

Connect residents to essential services, including mental health supports, employment assistance, housing guidance, and mentorship opportunities.
